SNP has security covered at Canberra Airport
SNP Security has reinforced its reputation as the leading-edge developer of advanced technology airport security and provider of passenger screening services, with its appointment to provide total security solutions for the expansion of Canberra airport.
SNP Security already holds the security contract for Australia's largest Airport, Sydney, which it has protected for over 40 years.
The contract for Canberra airport includes the supply and installation of the sophisticated Cardax Access Control and Avigilon CCTV system; a security system for which SNP won the ‘Avigilon Value and Performance Leader Award’ in Las Vegas earlier this year.
Managing Director of SNP Security, Tom Roche, says the contract win for the airport of the country's national capital affirms the company's expertise in high technology security systems and its reputation in passenger screening services.
"I am delighted to announce that we have been successful in winning the contract to supply passenger screening services to Canberra Airport. Securing this contract is a significant win for the business, both in the ACT and nationally,” says Tom.
“This win is another example of our strength and our ability to expand our aviation footprint. Our bid involved a significant contribution of many senior managers.
“This was underpinned by the reputation of Peter Georgiou (Canberra office Branch Manager) and his team, making SNP the leading manpower provider in the ACT. This win comes on the back of our success in winning the contract to supply electronics to Canberra Airport.
"We are very innovative in security design and importantly; our systems provide value-for-money.
“The new contract for Canberra Airport heightens our reputation for integrating high performance security solutions,” says Tom. "The installation of this new award-winning and cutting-edge Cardax Access Control and Avigilon CCTV system at Canberra Airport demonstrates our expertise in providing innovative security solutions.”
Canberra Airport is undergoing a $350 million upgrade, incorporating a new terminal, retail area and expanded car park.
