Security Professionals Workshop: Brisbane, 7 September 2010

The Australasian Council of Security Professionals (ACSP) is holding a series of workshops throughout Australia to gain input into the development of a national registry for the security profession.

The next workshop in the series will be held in Brisbane on 7 September 2010 at 7.30 am at the Speaker's Hall, Parliament House, corner of George and Alice Streets, Brisbane. Breakfast will be provided.

The aim of the workshops is to develop the model and criteria for the Security Professionals’ Registry - Australasia. The Federal Attorney General’s Department has provided support for the Council to conduct the
research, development and implementation of the Registry for the security profession.

The workshop series is designed to gain the widest possible input from of the profession, including establishing the criteria for registration, the model, governance and processes for the registry.
