HID completes security upgrade at MCG
HID has recently completed a project with the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Australia’s most iconic sporting venue, to upgrade its existing surveillance and access control systems.
The challenge for HID was to integrate the existing surveillance system with a new access control system, having identified a number of security issues that needed to be addressed. The final solution was to introduce VertX IP Access Control which is open source, requires no proprietary software and is fully interoperable with the facility's existing systems, as well as its new surveillance solution.
