From The Financial Times of London: Spotting Corporate Espionage

Freelance writer Rhymer Rigby (www.rhymer.net) writes this week in The Financial Times about an undetected electronic device in the Gherkin Building in London’s CBD.

Why is it undetected? Because, he writes, the CEO of White Rock Defence Systems Crispin Sturrock (www.whiterockdefence.com) admitted that they found the transmitting device when they scanned for transmissions from nearby buildings. He’s quoted as saying “it’s been there for ages”.

The building is apparently bugged with an electronic device transmitting information about one of its tenants. Unfortunately the tenants are not clients of White Rock so the device continues – but – maybe they are clients now.

The article is interesting and can be accessed via www.ft.com
