Critical Infrastructure Resilience Conference: Speech and Book Launch

Attorney-General Robert McClelland opened the inaugural Critical Infrastructure Resilience Conference in Sydney on 9 December 2010.

In his opening address, Mr McClelland emphasised the shift from ‘protecting critical infrastructure’ to ‘critical infrastructure resilience’. He spoke about the advances that had been made since the launch of the government’s Critical Infrastructure Resilience Strategy in June 2010. Book Launch: Insider Threat to Business
On the same day, Mr McClelland launched “The Insider Threat to Business – A Personnel Security Handbook”. This book is designed to help businesses understand and protect themselves from the security threat of insider activity.

The Handbook is a key initiative within the Commonwealth Government’s recently launched Critical Infrastructure Resilience Strategy launched in June 2010.
