SANS SYDNEY08 TRAINING EVENT

TESTING IT DISASTER RECOVERY WORKSHOP

DATE: 29 October 2008
LOCATION: Mercure Hotel, Sydney

This workshop covers the fundamentals of planning for and executing IT Disaster Recovery tests. Delegates will gain an understanding of how IT Disaster Recovery fits into the overall Crisis and Business Continuity Management process and how to IT DR plan can be tested, either independently, or in conjunction with, Business Continuity testing. All delegates will be given an opportunity to plan and run a hypothetical exercise, based on a sample case study, and using DR scenarios and test templates provided during the course.

2008 ACSI33 UPDATE SEMINAR AND FUNDAMENTALS COURSE

DATE: 19-21 November 2008
LOCATION: Crowne Plaza, Canberra

ITSEC Training Services are running two Australian Government Information and Communications Technology Security Manual (ACSI33) training events. The first is a two-day fundamentals course for those who want to get up to speed on the basics, followed immediately after by a one-day update seminar on the 2008 release of ACSI33. These events will benefit security practitioners such as ITSAs, security managers and officers, security policy officers and internal security auditors, security executives, system owners, chief information officers, and commercial organisations who require an understanding of government security standards. The courses will be presented by Greg Breen, an experienced DSD I-RAP Assessor and I-RAP Trainer and an ASIO SCEC Endorsed Consultant.

2008 BIOMETRICS INSTITUTE TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION

INTRODUCTION TO IT DISASTER RECOVERY WORKSHOP

CRISIS MANAGEMENT EXERCISE WORKSHOP

AUSTRALIAN SECURITY CONVENTION
